I was trying to hook up my Dualshock 3 to PC, and on this path of trial and error I’ve used a nice utility called MotioninJoy, which didn’t work for me (because I’ve never bothered with configuring it properly). Yet, after unintall of foresaid utility it’s drivers still rested within the dark roots of mighty Hardware Devices tree…

Long story short – howto on uninstall MotioninJoy properly.

First, if the software is already deleted – get it back, up and running should it be. Now, press nice button in the software called “Remove”. This will delete  Motionin drivers from your system. And now you can sefely remove the utility and proceed to the dark world of PC gaming…

Hi there.

I’m playing Fallout (the very first one)  right now. It’s old, but still it’s fun and such games are exactly what my ASUS Eee PC 900 was made for =)
I realize that I forgot the good deal of the game, so I feel like playing the brand new game in known setting. But that’s not the point, just a simple introduction to the post.

… lags as hell.

I can’t play this game, really. I hate watching textures loading and the lags in the battle sequences are annoying.
I have a faith in Squaresoft (or “Enix”, whatever it is), so I’d have no hesitations about buying a licence right away, but PS3-verison release date is “TBA 2009″ -__-. And yes, buying X360-copy is low.

I don’t really know what will I do, maybe play it regardless, maybe put it on hold. Well, english version of “KH Re:CoM” are to come soon, maybe I can give another run to the Kingdom Hearts… Even though they should have released Birth by Sleep already -__-

Recent games I played. Short report, nothing more.

Too Human – dropped

A tale of digital vikings. Looks stylish, but lacks dynamics – even in the opening video. Played until first boss, than drop. Out of setting, probably, but maybe it’s just the game is crap.

Spore – dropped

Well, the idea may be nice, but I wasn’t able to complete more that two stages – got bored after that and dropped the whole thing. Simple “out of setting” again.

Fable – completed

I figured out that I’m actually played that game a few years ago, it was like a big flashback when I launched it again O__o
Well, as long as I remember the game was nice and entertaining.

Fable II - dropped

Some sort of very advanced second stage of Spore. The game is nice, but kinda too social oriented.
Again – silent alter ego, lack of controllable dialogues, no flexibility in choices so far.
Mini-games are fun, but “work” mini-games is annoying as hell. If you’re looking for the fastest to earn a lot of money – it’s most likely to be woodpecker, unless you can easily build a high chain as Blacksmith.
The last thing is idiocy of some moments. Like werewolves trap was in the first part as well, are they idiots to thing it might work again? To note that you cannot possible to refuse helping and going right into the trap.
Another moment was when I maxed my skills using in-game bug and started to kill everyone in the city, just for fun. It took some time for them to KO me, but when they finally did they offered me either to pay 50k gold for about hundred of murders or do a community service. And when I’ve chosen community service, they asked me to kill all the bugs somewhere to earn a redemption of my sins. Uh-huh, a few bugs for hundred lives
Only one more thing to mention – the ones who’s responsible for putting “fire” to the X-Y-A-buttons are idiots, for sure. The number of times I’ve accidentally hit those buttons and fired a magic or gun is countless, or would become countless should I continue to play the game. They should have at least turn it off for “Safe mode”.
Dropped because of boredom, mostly – after completing Crucible I’ve got tired to keep playing the game, even though I wanted to see how the story will bent. Sad, but as it is.

Mirror’s Edge (demo) – Woah…

Played through demo three times at X360, than downloaded it for PS3 and played it four more times.
I want the full game already, I would even buy PS3-copy right away should local retailers sell it at more reasonable price (100$ for a PS3 game? Thank you, but no, thank you).

ParaPara Paradise

Playing it now and then. Finally got controllers =)

Post Mortem – completed

Got an urge to play exactly this game. Nice quest, but way too dark.

Masyana’s Tabloid Adventures – completed

This is a local shit =) Casual quest – easy, fun and relaxing. Exactly what was needed after Post Mortem.

It’s time to mention ‘em. Spoilers presented.

This will be my last post about Falout 3, for I’m done with it (for two weeks already, I just wasn’t able to get myself to write this post).
I’m like HP LaserJet 1022 – “finished before many printers have even started” =)

I have to say it in the beginning – regardless of anything written below, the game is extremely enjoyful, so you can give it a try without any hesitations should you have any.

Here we go ↓

Dynamic, stylish, and the protagonist is overwhelmingly cool and cute. Can’t wait for the full game.

It seems that I’m hooked for a while – i have Fable 2 already downloaded and I want to give it a try, yet I’m playing Fallout. Heavy spoilers and stuff this time.

Nyahaha, they’re only releasing it in two weeks.

It won’t be a “review”, more like “report”. No serious spoilers, only revealing some game mechanics or so.

Short post about games I’ve played in a past few months. Just impressions and opinions, for the game reviews you should check elsewhere (GameSpot or IGN or some other place). Everything was played on X360.
Spoilers… minor ones, if any at all.

Today’s guide will cover the process of assembling your own PS3 controller – DualShock 3. It should be useful applying for SixAxis as well, but photos are of DualShock only.
